These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of exterior cleaning services by Jet Power Pressure Washing (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers (“you”, “the client”). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Jet Power Pressure Washing is an exterior cleaning service provider operating across Cornwall and Devon, delivering professional cleaning services to residential and commercial properties. Jet Power Pressure Washing is a trading name of The Casual Gardening Company.

Services include but are not limited to:

• Pressure washing
• Soft washing/Render Cleaning/Brick Cleaning
• Driveway cleaning
• Patio cleaning
• Roof cleaning
• Gutter cleaning
• Commercial exterior cleaning
• Solar Panel Cleaning
• Soffit and Fascia Cleaning
• Decking Cleaning

2. Scope of Services

2.1 We provide external cleaning services at customer homes or business premises only.
2.2 Services are limited to surfaces and areas agreed in writing or verbally prior to commencement.
2.3 Any additional work requested on-site must be approved and may incur extra charges.
2.4 We do not provide internal cleaning, building repairs, or structural alterations.

3. Quotations & Pricing

3.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Prices are based on information provided by the client and visual inspections where applicable.
3.3 If site conditions differ materially from those described, we reserve the right to revise pricing.
3.4 VAT will be charged where applicable.
3.5 All prices are quoted in GBP.

4. Bookings & Appointments

4.1 Bookings are confirmed once agreed by both parties.
4.2 You must ensure safe and unrestricted access to the areas to be cleaned.
4.3 We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to adverse weather, equipment failure, illness, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

5.1 Provide accurate information regarding surfaces, materials, and site conditions
5.2 Remove fragile items, vehicles, and obstructions prior to arrival
5.3 Ensure water and electricity access where required
5.4 Secure pets and children away from work areas
5.5 Inform us of any known issues such as loose paving, damaged render, or fragile surfaces

Failure to comply may result in delays or cancellation without refund.

6. Health & Safety

6.1 We comply with all relevant UK Health & Safety legislation.
6.2 Our staff are trained in safe equipment operation and chemical handling.
6.3 Customers must not interfere with our equipment or work processes.
6.4 We reserve the right to stop work if conditions are unsafe.

7. Property Condition & Damage

7.1 We take all reasonable care while performing services.
7.2 However, Jet Power Pressure Washing shall not be liable for pre-existing damage including but not limited to:

• Cracked paving
• Loose joints
• Deteriorated render
• Defective roofs
• Weak pointing or sealants
  7.3 Pressure washing and soft washing can reveal pre-existing defects not visible before cleaning.
  7.4 We are not responsible for damage caused by faulty construction, poor maintenance, or ageing materials.

8. Results & Expectations

8.1 While we aim for the best possible results, we do not guarantee the complete removal of all stains.
8.2 Certain stains (e.g. rust, oil, paint, deep organic staining) may be permanent.
8.3 Regrowth of algae, moss or other organic material is natural and not grounds for refund.

9. Chemicals & Treatments

9.1 We use professional-grade, biodegradable cleaning solutions.
9.2 Some treatments may temporarily affect nearby vegetation or surfaces if not protected by the client.
9.3 We are not responsible for damage to plants where reasonable precautions were taken.

9.4 In certain cases, we will issue a certificate after works have been completed to confirm exact chemicals used, dilutions and areas covered.

10. Weather Conditions

10.1 Some services depend on suitable weather conditions.
10.2 We may postpone work due to rain, frost, high winds, or extreme temperatures.
10.3 Such rescheduling does not entitle customers to compensation.

11. Payments

11.1 Payment terms will be agreed prior to service.
11.2 Payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing.
11.3 Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
11.4 We reserve the right to withhold future services for unpaid accounts.

12. Cancellations & Refunds

12.1 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.
12.2 Late cancellations may incur a fee.
12.3 Refunds are only issued where services have not been delivered.
12.4 Dissatisfaction must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.

13. Liability

13.1 Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
13.2 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
13.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Insurance

Jet Power Pressure Washing carries full public liability insurance appropriate to the services provided. Proof is available upon request.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Extreme weather
• Natural disasters
• Acts of government
• Power or water failure

16. Complaints Procedure

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly.
We aim to resolve all complaints fairly and promptly.

17. Privacy & Data Protection

Customer data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

19. Amendments

Jet Power Pressure Washing reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
The latest version will always be published on our website.
